Iraq: Suicide bomb attack killed 12 at Jalawla
At least 12 security recruits were killed and 40 wounded Tuesday in a suicide bomb attack at Jalawla 150 kilometres north of Baghdad, the defence ministry and police said. A man wearing an explosives-laden vest arrived by car and was stopped by police, officials said. He then leapt from his car and ran into the crowd where he detonated his bomb.
