11/27/08 VOA: Car Bomb Kills 4 Near US Embassy in Kabu A suicide car bomb attack near the U.S. Embassy in Kabul has killed at least 4 people and wounded 18 others. The mid-morning blast appeared to target a convoy of foreign troops at a busy traffic circle.
11/27/08 NEWS.com.au: Australian soldier killed in Afghanistan AN Australian soldier was killed by an explosion in Afghanistan this morning….the Australian soldier was killed after an improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated. Two other soldiers were also slightly wounded in the attack.
